Das „Anagramm-Training“
Ein exploratives Forschungsprojekt zur Verbesserung des sprachlichen Könnens
Abstract
This paper reports on an empirical research project which examined exploratively whether certain aspects of language skills can be improved by working on “anagram-sentences” (sentences that are separated into words and have to be reassembled into meaningful sentences) with primary school children. For this, a training program was developed in which the students worked in small groups guided by a teacher, where they reassembled anagramm-sentences and talked about the underlying information-structures. Using a quasi-experimental pre-post design it was tested whether the subjects were able to improve their ability to rate information structures in a narrative text and wether they were able to improve the so-called “prosodic parsing”. Actually, the children were able to improve their rating-ability of information structures and eventually also their prosodic parsing. The research project was done to yield further research desiderata and potential educational benefits working on information structures with primary school children.
